The sensors are designed to be usable also in everyday measurements, not only under ideal situations such as in calibrationbaths. The sensor is smal, it does not conduct heat from the measuringpoint the same way as a rigid metallic sensor does. This makes it easier to measure temperature with high accuracy also under less ideal measuring setups.

All sensors are calibrated.
The error between the two sensors is less than ±0.01°C at steady state and at less than +-10°C/hour scanning.
