Applications

The display and data output can be adopted to your application.
It might be adopted to any application such as meteorology, HVAC, clinical measurements,
RH (psychrometer), soil measurements, destillation and chemical analysis,
or other applications that is within the specified temperature range.

Accurate temperature measurements:
T1-T2=-50.0000°C
T1   =-24.5433°C
T2   = 25.4567°C
2 channel thermometer.
T1= Sensor 1 and T2= Sensor 2
T1-T2= Differential temperature.
See this video showing the display during a measurment on mixed ice and water.

Heatflow measurement:
Heatf= 12.3456  W
T1   = 47.6543°C
T2   = 45.4567°C
Differential temperature devided by thermal resistance.
Custom applications such as bearing friction monitoring or calorimeters.

RH meter (psychrometer):
RH= 30.1456 %  RH
T1=  7.6543 °C
T2= 15.4567 °C
Calculates RH from a wet and dry sensor.

Thermal radiation measurement:
TR= 12.3456 W/sqm
T1=  7.6543 °C
T2= 15.4567 °C
Calculated thermal radiation.
(Reduced accuracy application.)

Air temperature measurement: (compensated for thermal radiation)
T0  =  5.1234 °C
T1  =  7.6543 °C
T2  = 15.4567 °C
Calculated air temperature.
(Reduced accuracy application.)

Measurement on Supercooled Water.
 The temperatures of supercooled water measured with a TempLabs.com T2 thermometer.
Sensor1 = Modal mineral water
no CO2.
Supercooled down to -5.12 °C
Freezing point depression -0.0220 °C
Sensor2 = Loka bottled water
with some CO2.
Supercooled down to -5.41 °C
Freezing point depression -0.1761 °C
Water below zero but not frozen.
When freezing starts the phase transition heatflow is very large:
The bottle temperature change 5°C in less than 10 s. Heat released is 10 kWs. Heatflow during 20s is 500W.
(The soft on set is not measured, it is caused by curve fitting made by Excel.)
Freezing point depression caused by minerals: -0.022 °C
Freezing point depression caused by CO2 (and minerals): -0.176 °C
Partly frozen water.
