DANGER

Do not use the ice packs for freezing food to babies, small children and animals.
Do not allow sharp objects to puncture any ice pack. Check for salt water leakage. Leakage of the contents can become dangerous in an electrical environment or when ingested by a small child. Use gloves and eye protection handling leaking ice packs. Keep the ice packs out of reach for children. Do not open. Do not swallow the content. Use gloves when handling frozen ice packs. Store them in the supplied box. The ice packs are not intended for direct food contact. If dirty, replace them or clean them with soap and water. Do not put them in a dishwasher or oven or heat them above 40
°C. Do not remove the ice pack labels. An ice pack is not a toy. Only use them as intended.

How to freeze the ice packs:

Set the freezer to -21°C.

Wait until the freezer temperature is at -21°C or below (colder).

Place the ice packs in an aluminium foil box and place the box in the freezer.

Packs can have some white colored ice left from last time they were frozen. Packs that are frozen are only white colored.

Charging during the night is recommended.

Opening the freezer door will prolong the freezing time.

How long time charging takes depends on the temperature in the freezer.

-21°C 13 hours

-22°C 12 hours

-23°C 11 hours

They are fully charged and frozen when they are all white.

If charged ice packs are stored for future use, the freezer temperature can be set to maximum -18°C. The ice packs discharge above -18°C.

How to use the frozen ice packs:

Put on insulating gloves.

Place the frozen ice packs and packaged ice cream in the food vaccum flask. Select the number of ice packs you need for you transport.

Do not overfill the vacuum flask.

Performance for a 0.5L vaccum flask at 25°C ambient temperature:

4 ice Packs Duration 4 hours Average temperature -14°C

5 ice Packs Duration 5 hours Average temperature -14°C

6 ice Packs Duration 6 hours Average temperature -14°C

7 ice Packs Duration 7 hours Average temperature -15°C

8 ice Packs Duration 8 hours Average temperature -15°C

9 ice Packs Duration 9 hours Average temperature -15°C

Transport and store the vaccum flask upside down.
This is important for keeping the temperature gradients in the food vaccum flask low.

Flush eyes and skin with water after leakage. Check for salt water leakage before giving ice cream to anyone.
Let the ice packs stay in the vaccum flask until you can put them in the aluminium foil box in the freezer. Salt water leakage is dangerous in an electrical environment.

Remember that the ice cream are for adults only, due to the salt water leagage risk. A -15°C ice pack is not a toy.
